Attention, all CAP members in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island Wings:
Beginning on January 10, 2019, date DHS extensions will expire, (Maine 10 Oct 19, New Jersey 10 Oct 19, Pennsylvania 1 Aug 19 and Rhode Island on 1 May 19) will be on travel restrictions due to the REAL ID Act of 2005. As a result, the drivers licenses in these states may no longer be accepted for airline travel and people with driver licenses from these states will need either a passport or a passport card to board a flight.
Please consider that there will be an expected rush on getting passports/passport cards in these noncompliant states, so everyone is encouraged to apply for a passport/passport card today.
Please check with DHS for updates. https://www.dhs.gov/real-id
Always Vigilant!
