DAART Operator/User

Dates: 21 – 22 July 2022

Scope: Maximum of 20 students

Training location: Hancock Field, Syracuse NY - Proof of vaccination is required. 

Course Description: DAART is a collaboration tool used by many state and federal agencies as well as CAP.  It provides real-time imagery, document storage, a Common Operational Picture and direct communication between users and our partners. 

Lodging: You may make your own arrangements, however, discounted rates are available but only if booked through NERESA. The email should include the course you signed up for and when you would like to arrive and depart. Your reservation will be made for you and you will be informed of where you are assigned on check in to the school. The rates are currently 65 to 72 dollars a night. 

Meals: At your own expense. Most of the hotel rooms have a refrigerator, storage space and microwave. There are several local and franchise establishments 2 miles off base.

Prerequisites: GES, Aircraft Ground Handling, and Aircrew Professionalism courses complete. 

The prerequisite for DAART Operator is MS -or- GTM -or- UDF. 

The prerequisite for DAART User is MRO -or MSA -or-UDF. Cadets are encouraged to attend and are eligible to complete both qualifications.
