POSITION: Regional News Coordinator
REPORTS TO: NER Chief of Staff
DESCRIPTION: Regional News Coordinators, working with and at the direction of the Lt Col Andrew Oppmann, National News Coordinator, and NHQ PA to solicit content from Wing public affairs officers and other members as appropriate for CAP Newsroom. Regional News Coordinators will pitch story ideas to the National News Coordinator for approval prior to story development. Regional News Coordinators will monitor and track news of national interest within the region, identify writing talent within their region, make content assignments and edit and post content for consideration by the National News Coordinator and NHQ PA on CAP Newsroom. The Regional News Coordinators and the National News Coordinator will be the only volunteer members permitted to post content for consideration on the CAP Newsroom platform.
REQUIREMENTS: Senior Member PAO or documented experience in the News Coordination.

- Coordinates IT for the NER
- Assist NER IT Wing officers
- Oversees computer network utilized by NER
Applicant must hold a minimum grade of Captain.
Must hold a Senior Rating in the IT Speciality Track.
Must have knowledge of CAP computer systems and procedures.
